Geographic Information
The Game Takes place in the region of the united states known as the Mid Atlantic, Bunkers were erected across all of the united states, but only within this safe corridor did none succumb to the nature, or savages.
The Volcanic winter has resulted in most plants and wildlife going extinct, and life on the surface has become hard and in certain areas heavily affected by the winter humans resorted to cannibalism
Timeline
Savages
Humanity, ever the adaptive species managed to surive on the surface, however the cost was great, reducded to primitive tribal societies, these groups would scavange the wasteland, suriving off foraging and hunting, both what few wildlife that survied, and humans.
many bunkers fell to savage attacks during the 250 years, opened and consumed by the monsters that they had abandoned on the surface.
Bunker Folk
The Last spark of true civilization they claim themselves to be, The Bunker folk were the lucky ones, varrying in size and population, the largest bunker, 52, housed 10.000 people, while smaller bunkers out in the west coast were as small as 300 people.
the median bunker housed about 2000 people, designed to open in 2265, however most had options for the bunker folk to open it from the inside.
Saurians
One of the many dangers of the post volcanic world, prowling the underground these large reptilians creatures hunt humanoids, clining to walls and dropping down, the creatures origins are unknown, though many speculate that they are from before the collapse, mearly being awakened by it.
they do not venture to the overground.
The Cannibal king
Coming from the far west, the cannibal king bore no name, road a massive wild hog adorned with human skulls, he had gathered the 16 tribes under his banner, and a host of 6000 savages, pillaging the bunkers in his way. 42 and 99 pushed him back across the Appalachian mountains, however they did not kill him, and a significant amount of his tribes survied.
Maria Harper
The Founder of the bunker initiative, Ms Harper served as a senetor of the united states and spearheaded the bunkers construction, unlike many government official Harper decided to stay on the overground and protect the bunkers till the last. her fate is unknown.
Alexander Black
“The Bloodsoaked Scentists” as he was called in his day, the files on Alexander Black are not kind, as he was the inventor of many weapons and Industrial methods considered cruel back than. he helped create bunker 16 and 4, often called the sibling bunkers.
Ezra The Prohpet
Ezra the prohpet is held in high regard to all that follow the faith, his words of redepmtion and kindess ring true for many, its known hes a matyr to the fate, but only thoses highest in the faith know his fate for certain.
