the rust hunters

The Rust Hunters

150 years ago, Bunker 99 began to malfuction, choosing to brave the wasteland instead of being swallowed by darkness, the rust hunters were born, Facing off against savages on the surface, the Rust hunters kept their bunker as home, forming packs to salvage what they needed and head back to the den, a rough demoracy built on pragmatism and tribal conseunsus, honest and vocal, the rust hunters served as stewards of the wasteland for years before any other bunker opened, and still pride themselves on being the first ones to step out.

  • Bravery

    • our people survived, because they were braver than any before us. We opened the gates when no one else dared, the blood of survivors runs through our veins.

    Merit

    • survival of the fittest, merit is the universal test for survival, those who fall below the bell curve simply die, that is the rule of the world, and we do best to follow it.

    Pragmatism

    • A dead man does not care for his companions, and neither should his companions care for him, burn his body and be gone with sentimentality, it is a weight dragging you down,

    Community

    • We survive because we are together, a pack lives because it hunts together, either we all feast or we all starve.

    Pack Democracy

    • from the first wardens we have been guided by everyone, it was by vote we opened the gates, we do best to discuss internally.
the shrine

The Shrine

Bunker 42 found faith in the darkness, when the light of civlization was dimming, they held firm in their convcitons and humanity, the shrine stands as a testimate to the founders of the bunker intiative, their faith guides them towards forgivness and kindness, calling themselves children of Ezra their prophet, they were the secound group to enter the wasteland, and unlike any other group have accepted savages into its fold, hoping to rehabiliate them.

  • Piety

    • Faith rules the shrine, one’s devotion should be as evident as the wind or the earth beneath you.

    Carrying the will

    • Our ancestors could not save the folk outside, so we must save all that we can, we must cleanse our generational guilt and shame.

    Ezra The Forgiving

    • Ezra was martyred for us, but we know he’d want us to forgive those who damned him, for he wept not only for his children, but for all.

    The Brave Missionary

    • A Follower of the shrine ought to never fear, for they are guided by scripture and compassion, in the wasteland they are the redeeming light of salvation, in the light of Ezra all can be redeemed, no matter the sin.

    All Children of Harper

    • No Matter how much we feud with the other bunkers, they are our siblings of the founder, we must always try and find a path forward.
the complex

The Complex

The labourers survied the horrors of the underground, the whip of the master, and the civil war, the wasteland will not kill them, it will not crush the spirt of the worker under the guidance of the general, the complex grows, its outpost extract value from the overground, and its comrades march the streets of a fallen empire, better ot be the boot than the stomped, and the complex is steel toed.

  • A home forged in blood

    • Our ancestors and their ancestors before them bled for the complex, blood and sweat carved the way for our survival, we owe their legacy loyalty,

    All Under the same earth

    • The Civil Admin proclaimed themselves above the common worker, but the General showed us a new path, for we are all formed under the same earth.

    She Stormed Forward

    • When No one else were brave enough to stand for the workers survial, she did, when ever one else cowered she marched first, she is an example to all of us.

    Survivalist Supremacy

    • we did not survive the complex to be made slaves in the new world, no we will rise and seize this age for ourselves.

    One Word, One Mind

    • The General lead us to a world no one else could, she braved the bunker doors, she freed us from shackles that our previous leader couldn’t, we serve as an extension of her will.
the aloyed 4

The Unalloyed

once man reached towards the sky with towers of steel and collums of smoke, the unalloyed have not forgotten the glorious past of industry, nor forgotten how to achive it, the most techonlogalyl advance, from their bunker automatons controlled by engineer corps emerge like giants of old legend, guided by dark “magic” and a ruthless driven state that will do anything to achive its goals.

  • Prioritization
    • we are the foremost in engineering, in advancement, in power, our survival is paramount before anyone else, or ideals are greater and should be preserved.

  • Wealth

    • a society grows great not by its empathy or by its piety, it grows great by its industry, if humanity is ever to carve its own path in the sky, we must first carve it into the earth.
  • Efficiency
    • Pointless traditions and self serving grandisation is the death of a society, only through rigid time tables and quotes can a people survive the end of the world.
  • The Democracy of the board room
    • A society governed by a tyrant will lead to the death of its people, however a society ruled by meddling bureaucrats will end in stagnation, democracy should be streamlined, executive, and subject to change if the need arises.

  • The American Dream Redesigned

    • our forefathers called this the land of opportunity, this dream we hold to like a mast in a storm, but we ought to remember only though our diligence can we reclaim the earth for humanity.

the frozen

The Frozen

Frozen for 250 years, Bunker 16 stands as a pillar of the world that was, and the world they can make, artists exploring a virutal world for all that time, musing and pondering the thousands of years of human art, and preparing for a new age, despite their luxirous state that many would asume they had, the frozen faced their own issues, internal strifes and corruption plagued them, now they are free from their ice sarcophagus.

  • Preservation

    • so much was destroyed, so many cultures and histories gone in a moment, we must preserve what we have left, we must remember

    Artistic Freedom

    • 250 years stuck in the astral isles, we dreamt a long dream, now we are free, and nothing will ever trap us again

    Song of Sympathy

    • we had the luxury of the astral realm, while the rest of humanity burned on the surface, we spent our time creating art, we owe them our sympathy

    Rigid Individualism

    • It came for us, because we were too connected, never again must humanity be bound together like that, our uniqueness is paramount to our survival

Born in the past, dreaming about the future

    • all the other bunkers are decendtants, we are the original, we saw the cities of old before they became ruins, and we know the folly of those before us
